Shapes Everywhere! Kindergarten/ First Grade Web quest

You are a shape detective. Your job is to find shapes in theworld. You are going on a trip to find the shapes.

You will work with one of these groups. oval square triangle diamond rectangle circle

On your trip you will: ZFind out about your shape. ZMake a shape poem. ZGet pictures of your shape. ZMake a “Shape Book” with your group. By the end of your trip you will be a master detective!

ZEvery day sing “The Shape Song” with all the detectives. ZEvery day your client (teacher) will read, “The Shape of Me and Other Stuff” by Dr. Seuss. ZEvery day the shape detectives will have an assignment to work on to solve the case.

“The Shape Poem” Sing to tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.” Terry triangle, look at me, Count my sides, there are three. triangle
