Starter #1: Take out your comp book. Turn to the first blank page. In the upper right hand corner, write the following: Wed., April 9, 2014 QW #42: No Place Like Home What makes a home... a home? Lesson Goal: Finish learning about correct word usage. Outcomes: Be able to... 1.Identify four pairs of word that are commonly misused for each other. 2.Apply the correct word usage in any given sentence. 3.Determine which words are in error and which are used correctly in any given sentence.
