Preparing the Soil

Spring 2009  Tustin Middle School Visit  A 6 th grade teacher asked the question, “Why Wait?”  Entire 6 th grade team agreed to pilot the program  English and Math PLC norms were created  English and Math essential standards were created English and Math PLC Norms Master Schedule

Fall 2009  Pilot begins  Monitor and adjust, monitor and adjust, monitor and adjust, monitor and adjust…..

Winter 2009  Sixth grade program logistics are worked out  Students and teachers experience academic success due to intervention Academic Success 6 th Grade Data

Spring 2010  Presentations are made to leadership team  New schedule is proposed and approved for school wide RtI Program  New PLC teams are formed
