Registering to Personal Profiles in the OARE Search Engines

Benefits of Registering to Personalised Profiles

o Receive alerts of new or updated material e.g. Journal alerts. o Store search history for future use even if you have logged off OARE or EBSCO/CSA. o Get Web pages to your personal folder.

To register for a personal profile in EBSCO click sign in.

This will take you to the login page where you have various options, either you sign in if you already have an account, if you forgot your password or username and password you can retrieve them here.. New users/those without personal accounts click “I am a new user”.

This will take you to the registration page to create and new account.

Fill in your details and once you have finished click submit.

A page with confirmation that your account has been created must then be displayed

Once you login you will get the same search interface but with the additional features of an account holder.

As an account holder you can create search Alerts…

Add/Remove results/search to your account folder….

Environmental Science and Pollution Management CSA Advanced Search

From the OARE journals page, choose Environmental Sci & Pollution Mgmt (CSA)

The CSA search page will launch.

Go to “Please login to my Research” to register for a new account or to login to an existing account.

This will take you to the login page where you can login or register for a new account.

Fill in your details and click on continue.

Remember your username and password to login.

Once you are logged on you will get links to the various options available to an account holder

Create RSS Alerts, Save your databases, and link My Research and CSA Illumina from anywhere within the two

Create Alerts, Choose preferred databases e.t.c.
