20 Status Notice In the past, all first time applicants received a State Grant Status Notice which included not only the non-FAFSA items needed for State Grant award determination but also listed all of the FAFSA questions in case changes needed to be made. This form was quite long and generated many questions.
21 Status Notice If corrections to FAFSA elements are needed, students will be encouraged to correct them on the FAFSA website as opposed to using a PHEAA’s Status Notice form. This will create more consistency of ISIR information held by schools and PHEAA.
22 Status Notice There will be some instances when a Status Notice will be required from the student. This would be primarily in cases concerning dependency status, for example, if the school made a student independent through professional judgment on the first ISIR transaction.
