Geographic Location -Largest city in Nevada, pop. = 1.48 million

Statistics on gambling -The first casino, El Rancho Vegas, opened in April, Average gambling revenue/year = 6,000,000,000 dollars. -Average visitor gambles $502 per trip.

Hotel Statistics -126,610 total hotel rooms (entire population of Cincinnati could stay in Vegas at one time). -It would take a person almost 14 years to sleep in every room of the MGM Grand (5000 rooms).

Wedding Statistics -Over 100,000 weddings are performed in Vegas each year. -You can buy a wedding license for $35, 24 hours a day on weekends
