Flappers are… Rebellious Women who went against what they were taught

The Origin of Flappers The flappers came to be at the beginning of the women’s revolution

How the Flappers Started The women started becoming a lot more independent after World War I, because the men were at war and the women became more involved with what was going on.

Hair The flappers hair were cut short into bobs, which was unlike most of the other women.

Makeup The flappers wore a lot of heavy makeup which was also different from the other women of that time

Clothing They wore shorter skirts and lower cut tops

Style They were said to have amore boyish look.

Behavior Many of them drank alcohol Some even tried illegal drugs The women were no longer considered to be conservative type women
