At Billie Edgemont, we want women to wear clothing that not only feels amazing against her skin, but makes her feel good about her body image. We feel women want clothing designed for them, not a runway model.

Billie Edgemont believes in simplicity of style, and has created basics made of amazing natural fibers. Cashmere, cotton and silk blends create sumptuously soft wardrobe essentials, like our perfect tee and tank tops designed for layering.

Billie Edgemont knows that when a woman is comfortable, she is confident. Our high end fabrics not only stand the test of time, but are soothing to sensitive skin. And many of our choices, including some 100% cashmere, are washable.

Billie Edgemont embraces a “less is more” and “quality over quantity” philosophy. We believe women are also ready to embrace slower fashion, in a world that is beginning to reject a throw away society.

In keeping with a slow fashion philosophy, many items may be worn a variety of ways, such as this dress which doubles as a tunic when pulled up on the hips. Spring 2016 will feature cardigans which may be worn front to back or upside down, to maximize versatility of each style.

The Billie Edgemont aesthetic reflects casual elegance, void of pretenses. Our timeless style supports our notion of slow fashion, with styles which will remain relevant season after season.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the Santa Cruz, California coastline, our color palate reflects the beauty of land and sea. The Billie Edgemont Spring of 2016 Collection features earthy neutrals, in soft tones of cream, blue, pink, brown, grey, tan and green. We also offer black in most selections, as it is the top selling color for cashmere.

We love working with retailers to create styles, fabrics and colors which may be tailored specifically to their aesthetic, while still maintaining Billie Edgemont’s brand integrity.

Founder and designer, Theresa Nelson, knows something about business, having been a successful business owner for seventeen years. She studies buying trends, including shapes, styles, fabric content and colors. She has dreamed of being a designer since the age of eight when she created her first garment. She, like many women, works to balance career and motherhood. Being a single mom and raising a child with autism, she knows what it is like to look for hope and inspiration. She strives to bring inspire women through her beautiful designs and heartfelt messages on social media. Theresa at left, with Kim, her dear friend.
