Salat – 5 Prayers Five Daily Prayers Facing the Ka’bah in Mecca (East) Series of Important Prostrations (Bowing, Kneeling, etc.) Mosque – Muslim Church or Place of Worship Minarets – Tower from which the call to prayer is made. Imam – Leader of Worship 1 - Sunrise - Fajr - The breaking of the sun in the morning this prayer is done before the rise 2 - Noon - Duhur - Noon prayer 3 - Early Evening - Asr This prayer is done before sun set 4 - Evening - Magrib - This prayer is done after sun set 5 - later Night - Isha - This is done typically before 9 pm. There are varieties of timing since Muslims live across different time zones.

Travel Requirements Hajj Visas or Umrah Visas - All Hajj (and Umrah) travel plans must be made only through a Saudi government-approved travel agent in order to obtain entry, accommodation, and transportation in Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. In 2013, the Saudi government announced stricter penalties for pilgrims without a permit. You must ensure that you have been issued a permit and that you are using an approved travel agent.
