Tyrnävä By:Anna & Eveliina

Farms in Tyrnävä  There are lots of farms in Tyrnävä.  Main crops are potatoes, barley and oat.  There are also cattle and milking cows. In the photo you can see a tractor pulling a potato harvester  In this photo you can see a crop wagon. 

The Potato Fair  In September there is organized the Potato Fair in the marketplace.  It has been every year since  It is organized after the potatoes are harvested.  But there are also lots of other stuff than potatoes.

Hamlets of Tyrnävä  There are five hamlets in the council of Tyrnävä.  There is also the centre of Tyrnävä and it has a couple of neighbourhoods.  The school buses go to Murto, Temmes, Markkuu, Jokisilta and Keskikylä. In these photos you can see the bus signs. 

The marketplace  Here is the place where the Potato Fair is organized.  The people from the centre of Tyrnävä sometimes hangs out here.  But mostly the elderly people likes to hang out here.
