H OMEWORK Homework is assigned from Monday through Thursday. Should take no more than one hour to complete - not including studying for test or long-range projects. Vocabulary tests - given almost every Friday. Students will be given at least three to five days’ notice to study for all tests. It should be neat, not sloppy. Only ask for help after they have given it their best effort.

H OMEWORK Students who choose not to complete their homework, we will ask that parents begin checking and signing completed homework each night. If students still choose not to complete their homework, they also choose to lose their recess or serve a detention. If students do not pass in their homework on time, it will be accepted on the following day, with a one grade reduction. If they choose not to make up missed assignments, students will receive a zero.

T ARDINESS /A TTENDANCE School starts at 8:00 A.M. I f you are not in the line by the time the gym door closes, at 8:00A.M. you are considered late and must sign in at the office before coming to class. For every three tardies, you will need to serve a detention. Attendance is very important to a child's success in school.
