Headteacher – Mrs Ann Herridge B.Ed (Hons) Info from Newsletter sent on 22nd June 2011 Mrs Lockett On Monday 20 June myself, Mr Duffin and Jacky Folley interviewed three very strong candidates to cover Mrs Freeman’s maternity leave in Class 1. These three candidates were shortlisted from over thirty applicants. The children had three fantastic literacy lessons on the day and then gave me their verdict. Their choice was the panel’s choice Mrs Beth Lockett and she will be joining the team in September. She is an exciting, experienced teacher and ‘blew us all away’ when we watched her teach and we can’t wait for her to join us.

Currently children at Cheselbourne are having drums, piano / keyboard and guitar lessons. These can be individual or in small groups. The piano and drum lessons are individual currently and the guitar lessons are in small groups.
