Everybody Needs a Clean Environment Written by: Simrat and Maya

I’m sorry for kids who don’t have a clean environment. I’m sorry for kids who have SMOG AROUND THEIR CITIES, POLLUTION IN THEIR RIVERS AND STREAMS, HAZARDOUS WASTES IN THE SOIL AND EVERYWHERE, SHRINKING FOREST, ENDANGERED ANIMALS, OIL SPILLS, LOUD, DEAFENING NOSIES, And other things like that If they don’t have a clean environment!

That’s why I’m giving them my own 10 rules for having a clean environment. Not just any environment, one that they can keep – maybe forever.

All right, here are the rules: Rule # 1 Keep pollution away I’m sorry for the kids who don’t have a clean environment. I’m sorry for the kids who have pollution in the air, and have pollution on the roads.

Rule # 2 Bend Over Bend over and pick up the garbage you see with your eyes. Tell anyone you see that is throwing garbage and tell them to pick it up.

Rule # 3 Water Pollution Do not litter in the water. If you litter in the water that water you littered in, is the water you drink.

Rule #4 Picking up Picking up the garbage that you think is bad for the environment. If you find any cigarettes then tell an adult to pick it up with a glove. Cigarettes pollute the air.

Rule #5 Don’t Shoot Animals If you shoot animals then there will be no animals in the world. If you shoot all the animals, they won’t be here us to enjoy.

Rule #6 You Should Start to Reduce You should start to reduce so bottles and other things can be used again. So maybe now we should start to reduce things that need to be reduce

Rule #7 Don’t Waste Paper Don’t waste paper because it is bad for the trees. Trees give us fresh oxygen. So you shouldn’t cut down trees.

Rule #8 We Always Need to Reuse We always need to reuse, so we are not wasting things. You can use tin cans to put your pens, pencils and markers.

Rule #9 We Need to Recycle You always need to put the things that need to be recycled. You should not litter and put all the recyclable materials in the different bins.

Rule #10 Start to use Containers You should start to use containers. If we don’t use containers then all the plastic bags will land in the ocean.

Glossary WATER POLLUTION: Water pollution is when the water has garbage and smells. GARBAGE: Garbage is waste material. RECYCLABLE: It means you can recycle it.

All right,that’s ten rules. If you can think of any more write them down. I think we can all help to preserve our earth.
