Separation Scanning Step Two: Place them on any transparency scanner, and scan each individual film in 8-bit Grayscale mode

Dot2Dot Conversion Step Four (Method 1): RepliDot allows you to completely convert a scanned halftone film into a high-quality bitmap digital file taking into account the smoothness of vignettes and the sharpness of text. Your Grayscale to Bitmap conversion will simply stun you with the accuracy and precision of the output file, thanks to RepliDot’s Advanced Adaptive Threshold Technology.

Digital Descreening for Optimum Speed & Flexibility Step Four (Method 2): Through the use of advanced algorithms, RepliDot's Digital Descreening feature reproduces a screened film, leaving you with an editable digital image in a continuous shade. Automatic Registration of Digital Separations Step Five: Registering films has never been so easy with the RepliDot Merge feature. The Digital Film Alignment process uses the four converted digital separation files to create a DCS set of files known as a Copydot file.
