On signal, engage p/poppers and targets in any order as they become visible whilst staying within the demarcated area. c Range 4 RANGE OFFICER BRIEFING Front & sides Stage 3: Hand Gun Targets: 8 IPSC Targets 2 IPSC mini target Distance: 5 – 20 m Min. Rounds: 20 Possible points:100 Start: Audible signal Briefing: Shooter starts standing with back to targets, both feet touching A, hands surrender. The firearm is loaded (Option 2) and placed on the table as demonstrated by the RO. On signal engage targets whilst remaining in the demarcated area. Note to Range Builders: T9 and T10 are covered by shade cloth running from the top of the table to the ground behind the targets. These targets must be engaged from under the table. (Stack tyres behind the targets for bullet catchers) T1-T3 must be visible from aperture B and T6-T8 must be visible from aperture C. T3 and T6 can also be seen from behind the table. Rounds: 8 Bird Shot Possible points: 40 Start: Audible signal Briefing: Competitor starts in demarcated area shotgun empty option 3 placed in stand. Hands placed on marks on left container door or right container door. On signal load and shoot poppers and clays as they become visible whilst staying within the demarcated area. . Note to Range Builders: P2 is only visible from the pipe on the left, P1 is only visible from the culvert on the left, P3 & P4 and Clays 1&2 only visible from inside of the container. Rounds: 20 Possible points: 100 Start: Audible signal Briefing: Competitor starts within the demarcated area, Rifle loaded, option 1. Butt on hip. On signal shoot targets as they become visible, whilst remaining in the demarcated area. Stepping on cable A activates swinger 1 and B activates swinger 2 which remains visible. Note to Range Builders: The demarcated area should not touch the barricade and does not form part of it. Target 6 is covered on top forcing competitor to shoot it from the bottom aperture. Notes for RO: Demarcated area does not form part of the barricade hence if the competitor use the barricade as a rest it will result in a procedural for every shot fired. RANGE OFFICER BRIEFING Range 7 Rifle Range 50m RANGE OFFICER BRIEFING Clay 3 Stage 3 : Shotgun Close or Fast? Targets: 7 Poppers 3 Clays 4 Plates Distance: 15 - 40 Min. Rounds: 14 Bird Shot Possible points: 70 Start: Audible signal Briefing: Shooter Starts and remains behind the charge line. Shotgun loaded option 1, held on hip. On audible signal, shoot poppers, plates and clays in any order. Popper 6 activates clay on the right. Foot pedal switch on the near left activates clays 1&2 on the left . Note the switch remains activated whilst pressing it and will release clays on a continuous basis. Competitor must launch only two clays by tapping the switch twice. Launching more than two clays will result in a procedural penalty for every additional clay launched. Note to Range Builders: The clay launcher is to be set on single clay launch mode. Rounds: 20 Possible points: 100 Start: Audible signal Briefing: Competitor starts standing at A facing up-range with heels touching the mat. Gun is loaded option 1 and lying flat on the ground in the demarcated area with barrel pointing down-range. On the audible signal shoot all targets as they become visible from inside the demarcated area. Plates 1 and 2 must be shot from behind the 1st charge line. Notes to range builders: Charge line at least 60m from plates. Plates can be placed further back but must be visible from the back through the apertures.
