SecureCRT Download and run the SecureCRT setup. After installation, run the program. Choose Engineering and click connect. If prompted, enter your credentials. Right-click on Engineering and go to Properties. Go to Port Forwarding Remote/X11 and check the box Forward X11 packets. 1/08/2014 3

Troubleshooting Make sure to run XMing first before running SecureCRT so as to run the EDA Tools. If you want to access the tools or your filesfrom off campus, make sure to run Cisco AnyConnect VPN first. You cannot name only an.ext file (.bashrc) in Windows, it has to be done in the shell prompt (SecureCRT). Open shell prompt (SecureCRT), type “mv sample.bashrc.bashrc”. This creates your.bashrc file which loads all the CAD libraries when you start CRT. If you already have a.bashrc file set up, you can copy the contents of the sample file into your original file. 1/08/2014 6
