World Wide Web and Web Browsers World Wide Web (Web) – Most popular services on the Internet. Consists of a system of global network servers, (web servers), that support specially formatted documents and provide a means of sharing these resource with many people at the same time. Host Computer – Network Server Client – Computer which accesses information from the network server Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) – Enables the transfer of data from the host to the client.
