General information Objective: Objective: To find if Kahori and Olivia can be grown under the same condition & treatment side by side Trial was broken into 4 groups Plants were stuck in week 21 Plants were pinched in week 26 Plants were potted in week 26 No PGR applied Planted: 1 ppp Conclusion: Conclusion: best performing is treatment A (but will have to be longer in production) and treatment B
Trial “A” Pinched in tray and also in pot Pinched in tray and also in pot Observation: 1. behind in finishing quarts (aprox. 3 weeks) 2. aprox. one week behind on finishing 6 packs 3. best branching
Trial “B” Pinched plug but not in pot Pinched plug but not in pot O Observation: 1. fills very nicely 6 packs and quarts (Kahori fills better then Olivia)
Trial “C” Not pinched in tray but pinched in pot Observation: 1. Olivia is smaller – behind on growth 2. Kahori will need aprox. 3-4 weeks for fill the 5” pot but it fill nicely 6 pack (needs aprox. 2 more weeks for flower)
Trial “D” No pinch in plug and no pinch in pot Observations: 1. plants get very leggy and floppy
