What Job I Chose and Why I Chose it. The job I chose is writer. I chose it because, I guess I just like writing little comics and stories.

What a Writer’s Job is Like Writers write stories, books, articles for magazines, or they write about things that really happened. Some writers work in quiet offices. Others in noisy rooms. Writers work hrs. a week. Some work at night or on weekends. Writers may work overtime to meet deadlines. They often face pressure to meet deadlines. Sometimes deadlines are daily.

Requirements/Skills A writer must have a college degree. To get the job, the best subjects to study are, communications, journalism, and English. If you write well, you may be able to pick up technical knowledge on the job. You must be able to write clearly. You should also love to write. You should be curious and creative about the world. A good writer has a lot of knowledge and doesn’t give up easily. You may be able to get a job on your high school or college newspaper.

The Future For This Job There will be a lot of competition for writing.This is because so many people want to become writers. BLS expects jobs for writers to increase about as fast as the average for all occupations through the year 2016.
