Welcome to “Step Up Day” at Shepherd Junior High School Home of the Stallions

1 hour in addition to the ELA reading class that is part of the regular schedule taught during 2 hour ELA block for all students

Please return this form to your 6 th grade teacher, along with the registration form! If you select the A hour, summer school, or test out option, we will contact you by the end of the school year, to confirm your participation.

SJHS ACADEMIC RESOURCES Extended Day Program: 1 hour after school DAILY Talk to your teacher! Ask them for help before or after school. Just set up an appointment. Teacher phone #’s and s are available on Shepherd’s website.

Develop good study habits!  Organize your notebook have a pocket for each subject have a pocket for each subject  Write in your planner every day check your planner at night check your planner at night  Do your homework daily – study notes if you have no homework assigned  Get help as soon as you don’t understand something…don’t wait!

Things to do this summer  Look for registration package in the mail in July.  Attend Planet Shepherd! (fliers will be sent out later in the semester)  Get your ID card! (Will be in the mail after your parents have sent your registration back to Shepherd)  See you in August!
