William Penn Senior High School Athletic Department Home of the Bearcats

Philosophy Athletics exist as a part of the education system and is an integral part of the education process. Athletics should positively impact our student athletes by teaching them self-discipline, a work ethic, self respect, and also the ability to handle stress, disappointment, and success. These values will help ensure success on the field, in the classroom, and in life. How these athletes develop these needed skills is a direct reflection of the importance our coaches place on these intangible qualities. We believe that by teaching and stressing these ideas, all our athletic programs will be successful by all measures available.
