WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE READY IN ORDER TO PLAY SPORTS: Copy of your current physical (summer time appointment covers you for the whole year), give copy to your coach. Copy of the Athletic Code-keep for you and your parents to know the rules. Sign the proof of insurance and Athletic Code form (1 page) and turn it into your coach. Stay eligible academically (pass 5 classes per semester Be a citizen, student/athlete. What does it mean to be a citizen?

OTHER TIPS TO REMEMBER: Stay involved in school activities and sports 4 years goes by fast Great way to get to know people and make friends Stay up with homework; time management Social media, be careful-colleges and potential employers watch it Why do you play? Less than 1% of high school athletes get an athletic scholarship, more likely to get scholarship for good grades in school than for sports Be well rounded try them all
