Class Schedule: Monday: 09:00-10:45 (Practical Session) Tuesday: 09:00-10:45 (Lectures) Office Hour: Open Door Policy

Course Objectives This course aims to introduce the students to aplication of steel as structural material for structures and behaviour of steel structures. Students will be introduced with design process, from load analysis to providing cross-section for each structural element. Understanding different types of steel structural element, the way of transfering the loads, connection between same and different cross-section types and elements. Effects of fire and corrosion on steel elements. Understanding composite reinforced concrete and steel structural element and its behaviour.
