Why Don’t We Plan? 4

VestVision® Process 5 1.DEFINE MAJOR LIFE GOALS The VestVision Process is initiated with a candid conversation between you and your advisor about your life goals and your ability to attain them.

VestVision Process 6 2.DETERMINE YOUR IDEAL AND ACCEPTABLE GOALS You and your Advisor will assign your goals either a “perfect” or “satisfactory” rating. Your “perfect” goals are your best-case scenario goals, while your satisfactory goals are somewhat modified but gratifying.

VestVision Process 7 3.PRIORITIZE GOALS We encourage the use of our interactive VestVision Priority ladder to effectively prioritize your goals and ensure you and your Advisor are on the same page. This is a great interactive tool that gives you a solid picture of your priorities and enables open discussions with your Advisor and family members.

VestVision Process 8 4.STRESS-TEST GOALS Your goals and investment strategy undergo stress-testing that simulates 1,000 random market environments to determine your probability of attaining your goals.

VestVision Process 9 5.MAKE A RECOMMENDATION Once your Advisor has a clear understanding of your “perfect” and “satisfactory” goals, he or she will make a recommendation that emphasizes or de-emphasizes your goals accordingly.

10 Understanding Plan Results Above the Comfort Zone You are NEEDLESSLY SACRIFICING your lifestyle. You could take less investment risk, pursue larger or more goals sooner and still maintain confidence in your financial future.

11 Understanding Plan Results Below the Comfort Zone There is too high of a chance you may not exceed your goals. Adjustments need to be made.

12 Understanding Plan Results Comfort Zone A confidence level between 75% and 90% should give you confidence that your goals can be EXCEEDED. This reading indicates a set of goals that is manageable and avoids unnecessary investment risk.

VestVision Process 13 6.IMPLEMENT ALLOCATION Your Advisor will choose an appropriate investment mix to support your goals, concerns, risk tolerances, and financial circumstances.

VestVision Process 14 7.MONITOR PROGRESS Your ability to constantly monitor your progress is what sets VestVision apart from other planning tools. You can be confident that your Advisor always has access to the most accurate and current information.

15 Monitor Progress

VestVision Process 16 8.NEW GOALS OR PRIORITIES Change is inevitable and it can affect our ability to reach our goals—sometimes prompting us to create new ones altogether. VestVision allows you to conveniently make changes to your investment plan as situations arise.
