Microsoft Office Step by step Click on Start Click on All Programmes Go to Microsoft Office Head to PowerPoint Then you are there !!!!!!! Stage one done
Sequence of events Before you start working Save to a folder, Save As.. ppt or ppx file Then work on your presentation Then continue to save as you go Press F5 to view your presentation
Best Practice Begin work on white background Minimum Information per slide 8 Words per bullet point only if presenting new information (research show people don’t read after 8 th word) No more than 4 Bullet point preferably 3 only Simple and clean Interactive: Provide work to accompany the power point
Point to be aware of Keep it simple Pictures to match notes Interactive Things for students to do (Quiz) Name the what is happening?
Layout Click on Home Make a title page Proceed to Layout Located beside new Slide Select an option

Inserting Pictures Click on pictures It should then take you to “my documents” Open My Pictures Select image Then resize using the height and width on tool bar
Design Function Set up page with words then try the various options by placing the cursor on each image Try Colours option Try Font Styles Look at effects Look at Background Styles Other options
Animations Click on the different choice to see what is available Click on Page then click on Add effects
