There is an enemy opposing God’s good and glory in our lives ““Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” (v17-18)

Spiritual Reality of Life Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph 6:10-12

Spiritual Reality of Life Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Mt 6:12-13) Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Pe 5:8-9)

There is an authority teaching God’s good and glory in our lives ““I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions [cultural symbols of evil] and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. (v19)

Why It’s Important We See Approach Attitude Attack Sara & I – going to 3rd world country – 78% Muslim – have to learn to go - I have to lead them – - they will become what we do / not what we tell them We want to be protected from the world but love the world!!!!! - treasure is in the world - teach your kid that God’s treasure is in the world (not away from it) - not in entertainment or spirit – in people - treasure is in your school, your career, in community, in those enemies   BUT ONE MORE PRAYER _ONE LINE AND IT’S THE CRAZIEST PRAYER OF ALL
