 Kyoto Protocol sets targets on “developed countries” to limit their emissions below 1990 levels by 5.2% during Kyoto protocol now has extended till  Globally, 5,000 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent reduction is targeted to be achieved.  Kyoto Protocol is administered globally by the UNFCCC and in Sudan through High Council of Environment and Natural Resources (HCENR).  Sudan government actively supports Kyoto Protocol and CDM because it helps sustainable development in the country. Kyoto Protocol Activities

Promote sustainable development in the developing countries that host CDM projects. Promote sustainable development in the developing countries that host CDM projects. Enable developed countries to reduce global emissions by participating in the CDM projects and meet their obligation under the Kyoto protocol. Enable developed countries to reduce global emissions by participating in the CDM projects and meet their obligation under the Kyoto protocol. Objectives of CDM

Importance of Local Stake-holders Meeting  Will provide information to local stake-holders on global benefits of the project such as reduction of GHG emissions and global warming effects.  Will provide information to local stake-holders on environmental and socio- economic benefits of the projects.  Will help in understanding if the local stake-holders have any concerns about impacts from the project.  Will help to build-in stake-holders concerns while developing/operating the project.

Proposed CDM Projects Biogas digester installation

 The proposed project activities are an initiative towards climate change mitigation measures. It will reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. Thus reducing the direct emissions of GHG green house gases into the atmosphere  The project activities will reduce the dependence on fossil fuels and non renewable biomass  It will avoid emission of methane.  It will also reduce emissions from transportation of fuel.  The Project activities will also contribute to increase in the local employment by employing skilled and unskilled personnel for operation and maintenance of the equipment.  This project will demonstrate the use of new financial mechanism (CDM) in raising finance for implementation of energy efficient technologies. Benefits

 We are a management consulting firm working to inspire businesses for creation of business values with sustainability.  Our Services  Renewable Energy Advisory: Managing the end to end portfolio including the FSR preparation, Loan Syndication  EPC Services for Solar Power Projects  One of the 10 Compliance auditors appointed by CERC  Having presence in India, Pakistan, Zambia, Sudan, Ghana, South Africa, Sri Lanka.  Managing more than 100 RE projects and 3000 MW About CoreCarbonX
