Weekly HAR Market Stat The Houston real estate market has defied the effects of seasonality as we prepare to transition from fall to winter. Home sales continue to climb, shrinking inventory. However, new listings are making their way into the MLS each day. Houston’s employment numbers are also on the rise, so we will have to closely watch the next couple of months to truly know how these forces all play out. In the Houston region, for the week ending November 9: New Listings increased 12.6% to 2,009 Pending Sales increased 26.8% to 1,688 Closed Sales increased 2.7% to 1,125
