Use of English: VERB PATTERNS (TO + INFINITIVE; INFINITIVE WITHOUT TO; -ING) Reading PART 5

It’s used to connect two verbs. VERB 1 + VERB 2 THE SECOND VERB can take one of three different forms: to + infinitive, infinitive without to, -ing It depends on THE FIRST VERB which form it will take.
