It’s Getting HOT! HOT! HOT! The Tropical Climate! It’s Getting HOT! HOT! HOT!

Characteristics In a tropical climate, all twelve months have temperatures over 64.4 degrees Fahrenheit, which equals 18 degrees Celsius. There are only really two seasons: Wet and Dry. There are three types of tropical climate: Equatorial, Monsoon, and Savanna.

Characteristics In an equatorial tropical climate, there is usually no dry season at all! These places are found within five degrees latitude of the equator. Monsoon tropical climates are climates which receive very strong seasonal winds! Many times these winds bring with them strong flood waters from the ocean. Savannas have both a wet and dry season. It takes its name from the plains of the Orinoco River in Brazil.
