PHILIPPINES TYPHOON APPEAL November 2013

670,000 are now homeless after Typhoon Haiyan ripped through the Philippines.

Homes have been flattened by surging floods and powerful winds. Whole villages have been swept away.

Fields and villages are flooded. Trees, cars and electricity lines have been scattered by winds of up to 200 miles an hour.

People are in emergency shelters with little access to basic services. They urgently need food, blankets, basic first-aid kits and cooking utensils.

Our partners are on the ground doing all they can, but we need your help to reach those most in need.

How you can help €25 could provide a month's emergency food for three families €47 could buy essentials for a family whose home has been destroyed, including tarpaulin and blankets, medicine, cooking equipment, buckets, candles and a torch €117 could help towards the cost of repairing a damaged house Please donate and join us in prayer for the Philippines NI charity no. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. Psalm 46, 1-3
