RADIOCOM’s MISSION We are the main national provider for broadcasting services and our wish is to become a major player for telecommunications services. INFRASTRUCTURE RADIO BROADCASTING TRANSMITTER AND TRANSPOSER NETWORKS TELEVISION BROADCASTING TRANSMITTER AND TRANSPOSER NETWORKS TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS

INFRASTRUCTURE RADIOCOM provides transporting and broadcasting of the public programs of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company, all over the country and abroad.  Coverage area: 99,9 % - for „România Actualităţi” 97 % - for „România Cultural”. A number of 11 local and regional programs are broadcasted through our AM and AM-FM transmitter networks. RADIO BROADCASTING TRANSMITTER AND TRANSPOSER NETWORKS

INFRASTRUCTURE TELEVISION BROADCASTNG TRANSMITTER AND TRANSPOSER NETWORKS RADIOCOM provides transporting and broadcasting of the Romanian Television Company’s public TV programs – through the largest TV transmitter and transposer network in Romania. The following channels are broadcasted through our 115 transmitters and 404 TV transposers:  TVR1 (received by 99 % of population)  TVR 2 (received by 96 % of population).

In RADIOCOM implemented two major projects for TV infrastructure development; RADIOCOM implemented two pilot projects for digital broadcasting area: - Radio broadcasting(T-DAB) Project – 1 site (250W Transmitter) in Bucharest; - TV (DVB-T) Project – 2 sites in Bucharest ( 2 transmitters 1.3kW and 2 transmitters 200W) and Paltinis –Sibiu ( 2 transmitters 1.3kW Both projects are included in “National Strategy for Public TV and Radio Infrastructure Development Strategy” according MSI - Ministery for Informational Society. “National Strategy for Public TV and Radio Infrastructure Development Strategy” provide the following major goals: - in Romania it is possible to implement: 4 Multiplex in UHF band; 1 Multiplex in VHF band; - In an transition project from analogic TV to digital TV will be implemented; - The regional/local multiplexes will be identified punctualy, after the national multiplexes implementation; - Transition from terestrial analogical TV to digital terestrial TV will be implemented by the operator that supply now the broadcast for TV public programs. “MAJOR OBJECTIVES” for RADIOCOM: -To obtain license to operate 1 TV digital multiplex with national widespread coverage; - Broadcast the TV public channels and the private channels in totaly transparency and no discrimination regarding teh market; - implmenting and suppling the transition from the analogical to digital broascast TV channels according M.S.I strategy; --deduction of the negative effects regarding the transition from the analogical to digital broascasting TVR1 to population, assuring a “window ” period for simulcast

INFRASTRUCTURE TELECOMMUNICATIONS NETWORKS MW SDH Network – has a total length of Km and it is completed by the national network of high capacity analogue relays with a length of more then 16,000 Km. DWDM Network – national fiber optic network for high capacity transport has a total length of 5,300 Km. Point-to-multipoint access network - WiMAX 3.7GHz and LMDS 26 GHz. IP/MPLS national network – NGN Cisco Voice network – it is an VoIP telephony network based on the last generation equipments. Satellite Communications Centre from Cheia – the most important gate for coming in and coming out of data, TV and radio transmissions.
