Railroads-a system designed to transport people and heavy goods and products What are some important parts that define this system?
Some parts of a system are complex enough to be their own systems. Example: The locomotive that pulls the train is its own system including diesel engines, generators, electric motors, wheels, lights, whistles, and a throttle to adjust speed. Subsystem: a system that is part of a larger system
We will investigate various systems in plants and animals that function to support survival, growth, behavior and reproduction. We will explore systems of transport within animals that function to allow animals to receive, process and respond to information.
