Task Candidates should compose a short piece called contrasts to be played in class. It should play with the contrast of the two blocks of material (arranged ABA) with changes in tempo, texture and dynamics

Check list Section A  Even phrases e.g  Phrases ending with cadences?  16 bars long?  Time Signature 4/4, 3/4 or ?  Key Signature = C, G, F or ?  Accompaniment? – Block chords, Alberti Bass, etc….  Duration = Rhythm?  Written for Piano/Keyboard and/or ?
