Benefits for student

 clear and easy instruction: even those who might not understand the written words can still get the ideas easily.  sound effects: the pronunciation is extremely lucid that students can hear it clearly.

 Repeated objects: by repeating the words and sounds, students can learn them unconsciously.  Vivid and lively animation: it might easily catch students’ attention, therefore they would choose to learn independently.

Benefits for teacher

 Teachers don’t need to draw lines on the blackboard, because if you press one word, it will help you write down on the lines in the computer.  If teachers want to improve students’ listening, just press one word and it will pronounce it for you.

 It can save time to design teaching aids for teachers. There are some new words and pictures in this website.  Besides improving students’ English skills, teachers also can have them develop their imagination to finish their own Gingerbread Man.

 Various and colorful pictures can stimulate students’ interest.  Because it seems like a game, students may have less pressure when you teach them English.

Disadvantages

1.Starfall is suitable for children who just begin to learn ABC alphabets, aging from kindergarten to second grade of elementary school. If the users are older, they may find this website a little bit dull and boring.

2.The pictures in Starfall are colorful and simple, using step by step approach to teach children how to pronounce correctly. But Starfall is lack of interaction. On the other hand, GameGo using delicate interactional little games, not only attract children’s eye sights, but also adults can have fun in it.

3.The links in Starfall are a little bit too slow and lag, this should be improved.
