Total Govt plus donor spending on AIDS compares with entire health sector budget Total Govt plus donor spending on AIDS equals over 3% of GDP, and one third of all aid to Tanzania 95% of all AIDS funding is ODA US and Global Fund account for 86% of donor support for AIDS expected in 2007/08 Increase in PEPFAR funding from 200 million USD in 2007 to 300 million USD in 2008 Prevention was just 15% of total combined US and GF expenditures for AIDS in 2006/07 Tanzania successful in GFATM R8, with 500 Mio USD/ 5 yrs HIV/AIDS Funding in Tanzania (2007 HIV/AIDS Public Expenditure Review)
