Indirect Financial Compensation Health care After 2 years hourly employees become eligible for Full Medical Flexible spending account for health care Paid vacation and PTO 2 Weeks paid vacation per year Can carry over to next year if they don’t use it Can only use 2 weeks maximum at a time 10 Days of PTO Free meal per shift Retirement plan After 2 years with Max's we will match 401K $.50 on $1 up to the maximum 6% of gross pay

Labor Union In order to head off unionization of our workforce we will:  Have competitive pay and compensation for health insurance benefits (Max's will pay majority of the premium costs)  Provide fair and consistent policies and practices that address common employee concerns (targeting reasons employees would unionize)  Ensure a friendly and safe working environment where no safety hazards are present and worker’s compensation is available upon injury on the job site  Encourage open door management policies for employees to instill trust and gain recognition  Be open to employee referrals. We want to maintain a fun and positive environment where employees can actively get there friends and colleagues in to the workplace  Hosting employee events to show gratitude for their hard work, while building team appreciation and boosting morale  Hosting community events to allow family, friends, neighbors, and patrons to join in a community celebration that recognizes the business they bring to our restaurant  A non-discriminatory work environment where diversity is celebrated, employees have access to management, and a fair and effective grievance process is instilled

Conclusion Max’s restaurant is about creating a quality environment for our employees to provide a quality service to our customers in our community. By taking a holistic approach to how we interact with our community, from attracting new hires to how we train employees to serve and give back, we feel that Max’s is not just a restaurant establishment, but a steward within that community.
