Presentation transcript:

Twenty-One Things that I have learned ENVP Valerie Edwards, Independent Consultant

1. Learn the Art of Prospecting 2. Get real with yourself – Would you want to sponsor you?

3. It’s all about activity, sharing the Arbonne story over and over again 4. Stay connected – Team calls, meetings, books, Arbonne University, Learn and Burns

5. Fight Manageritis –The people who get you to DM will not be the same ones that get you to Area and beyond…You have to give your team grace and cut yourself no slack. 6. Sponsoring is key – continue to buil your Central. Your width is your paycheck, your depth is your security

7. Never pre-judge anyone. Invite them into your business. They are all maybes until they are moved into a your or no column 8. Listen to your teams. Listen to what your prospects want & can do. God gives us 2 ears and 1 mouth, we need to listen more than we talk

9. When you are down and having a bad Arbonne day, find that spark that you had when you started. Focus on the basics and get back the love of the game 10. Be passionate about what it is you are sharing, Your enthusiasm will attract others to your business

11. When someone says they do not have time, they are stating a fact, not a priority 12. You have to learn to have a rubber- butt mentality – the ability to bounce back up and keep going. If someone isn’t doing what they said they were going to do, you need to bless and release them

13. Arbonnize your home. You need to become a product of the product 14. Work with your consultants who are only wholesale consumers. Introduce them to new products, build a team of walking Arbonne ambassadors

15. Learn to balance your family and your business 16. It is not a race. Build a strong, solid team – you are learning your Arbonne education. Enjoy the journey. You are in control of your life

17. Envision the “comma” checks. When you have more you can do more for others 18. Always be prepared. Are you packing and armed with samples and business cards?

19. When someone says “No” to you, they just mean that they don’t know enough 20. We are building a legacy for future generations 21. Know your why, your intention and paint the picture for those on your team
