ANNPOWER VITAL VOICES INITIATIVE Training & Empowering the Next Generation of Women Leaders 2 WHAT IT IS: A groundbreaking initiative between ANN INC., the parent company of Ann Taylor and LOFT, and Vital Voices that provides leadership training to girls, empowering them to become the next generation of global trailblazers. WHO SHOULD APPLY: Girls who are in the 10 th or 11 th grade at a high school in the United States or Puerto Rico, with a strong commitment to leadership and potential for creating innovative solutions to problems in their community. DEADLINE + DATES: Apply by Monday, January 21 at 5 pm EST at annpower.org. Fellows will be announced in March. The 2013 Leadership Forum will take place April

JANUARY Apply to become an ANNpower Fellow MARCH 50 ANNpower Fellows announced APRIL Fellows participate in the ANNpower Vital Voices Leadership Forum -- A three-day leadership training program in Washington, DC, April 1-4 SPRING Fellows are then charged with creating projects to develop change in their community SUMMER Fellows are eligible to win project grants that will help put their ideas into action --Grants of up to $2,500 are awarded FALL Fellows begin work on their projects and have a chance to be mentored by women leaders 3 HERE IS HOW IT WORKS:
