Event Participation Responsibilities Regional Committee  Connects with attendees they’ve called and engages them with other attendees and staff  Gets attendee’s business card and gives them their volunteer business card  Talks to prospects about CA program  Facilitates conversation among attendees  Keeps notes about conversations  Thanks donors and discusses what CA program means to UCLA Regional Director/Staff  Provides talking points for event conversations  Assists in connecting committee members with attendees  Connects with identified key donors and prospects 15

Event Follow-up Responsibilities Regional Committee  Sends “thank you” notes to donors for attending and giving to UCLA (includes a CA update)  Sends “thank you” notes to prospects for attending (includes CA information and a remittance form)  Makes follow-up calls to anyone contacted by phone who didn’t attend  Adds those attendees spoken with to each volunteer's personal prospect list as applicable  Provides written reports on contacts and suggested next steps to regional Chair and Director Regional Director/Staff  Creates “thank you” from Chair to attendees and sends final version  Provides language for follow-up thank you notes and phone calls  Provides CA materials  Coordinates follow-up activity with Chair and Vice Chairs  Records information in contact reports from volunteers in UCLA Fund database  Tracks gifts received and reports to committee 16
