Product Innovation Cellar Product Innovation Cellar Mission Statement The Product Innovation Cellar (PIC) supports and encourages multidisciplinary product development and entrepreneurial activities of the Electronic Systems Engineering Technology Program that foster experiential learning opportunities for Texas A&M students.

ESET Authorization Requirements Conduct yourself as a mature adult Respect and use all resources as a professional engineer Leave cleaner and in better condition than you found it Report any problems or issues that might impede you or others Take immediate action on any and all safety hazards

ESET General Guidelines The Product Innovation Cellar is a 24/7 resource for undergraduate students working on approved projects. Access to this facility at all times is restricted to authorized students or individuals escorted by ESET or ETID departmental faculty or staff. NO other individuals are authorized access to this facility. Behavior indicative of professional engineers must be practiced at all times. Proper safety procedures must be observed at all times. NO unsafe practices will be tolerated at any time. If you are not sure it is the right thing to do – DON’T DO IT !

ESET Operational Guidelines Only authorized students will be in the PIC Access/use of PIC resources is a privilege All authorized students must accept operational responsibility PIC is to remain in SHOWCASE condition at all times Teams/individuals must contribute to the overall maintenance and upkeep of PIC

ESET Specific Requirements Must leave the space/resource cleaner and in better condition than found. Must wear safety glasses and have another authorized individual with them when using any equipment located in the Mechanical Fabrication Facility. Must not remove any tools or equipment from any room within the PIC or from the PIC itself. Must report any problems, malfunctions or safety concerns to the ESET Program Director and Administrative Coordinator as soon as possible. Will lose access privileges for not following General and Specific Requirements.

ESET Mechanical Fabrication Lab Facility is available for authorized student use only during normal business hours (M-F, 8-5). No one is authorized to work alone in this lab. There must be one other individual physically present in the lab to use these resources. Safety goggles must be worn at all times when using powered tools. Tools may not be removed from this facility All tools must be clean and returned to their designated location. All equipment must be turned off when not in use. Clean up after use – leave it better than you found it.

ESET ESET PIC Multimedia Room This facility is for use by authorized individuals only to support meetings and other stakeholder interactions. This facility is not to be used for other purposes such as studying, homework, eating, sleeping, etc. Reservations must be made with the ESET Program Administrator to use this resource. Facility must be left clean and neat after use.

ESET PIC Break Room For use by authorized individuals only. Must be clean and neat at all times.

ESET Authorization Agreement I have read and understand all the guidelines and requirements which must be followed to be authorized use of the Product Innovation Cellar.
