 Gain the skills necessary to enter the dental assisting field. This program covers oral hygiene, preventative dentistry, basic dental and lab equipment, x-ray processes, and basic impression materials. Students also learn CPR, and first aid.  Students can earn their Radiology License and Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

◦ Dental Assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. They often schedule and confirm appointments, receive patients, keep treatment records, obtain dental records, and order dental supplies and materials.

They also sterilize instruments and equipment, prepare tray setups for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
