In order to achieve its vision, Schulich requires a comprehensive organizational response that: 1.integrates activities from a broad range of stakeholders, 2.delivers excellence at a distance, and 3.understands the effectiveness of processes, communications, project management and teamwork methodologies. ECSC May 9, 2014 The change will be deliberately phased to recognize culture, skills, functional and process dependencies 1. Get building blocks right2. Process and methods change 3. Complete reorganization with refinement of reporting structures Place new organizational capabilities and regroup contiguous functions Focused on process changes to equip the organization with methods and skills required to fully realize organization benefits Final steps of reorganization with the implementation of improved technology and process methods.  Define Senior level roles & departmental lines change to accommodate the new initiative  Build a technology/process plan – process becomes both the limiter and enabler of speed of change.  Begin skills training in project and team methods  Process redefinition - Technology/process is primary change pace driver  Job responsibilities, skills and reporting structures will be refined to support new capabilities  Performance measures will be reviewed and modified.  Skills and behaviors training  Complete roll out of new accountabilities and refined processes and technology From the Deloitte Report …..

Recommendations will be implemented by end state All groups will be administratively supporting the Strategic Plan Standard Operating Procedures will be in place Balanced Scorecard & metrics in place and monitored effectively Schulich working in a Continuous Process Improvement mode - always aware of and adjusting for the changing environment In ‘management state’ - making it stick! 2014/15 End State From the Deloitte Report ……
