The first thing to do Draw a 2×3 grid and put a multiplication sign in the top left hand corner
The second thing to do Choose a 1 digit number and a 2 digit number then partition them. For example 7 and 68 make 7, 60 and 8.
The third thing to do Insert the partitions in to the grid as so
The fourth thing to do Do those MULTIPLICATIONS!
The fifth thing to do Add the answers from the multiplications = 476
