Special attention is given to countries that have signed or willing to sign a Framework Participation Agreement. Regular participation of Strategic Partners such as Ukraine, Russia, China and Japan Existing Partnership Programmes (one week CSDP Orientation preceded by an Internet-based Distance learning Phase and followed by a reflection seminar in one of the partner countries) Western Balkan Countries Eastern Partners (EaP) CSDP Seminars with particular participation of China (March 2013) and the ARF/ASEAN countries (March 2014)

ESDC – Training Record Since its creation in 2005, the ESDC has trained approximately 6500 civilian and military participants, coming from the 28 MS, candidate states and EU institutions Many courses are open for participation of third states and international organisations (so far ~500 participants) Current training capacity: to train ~ 1200 civilian and military in more than 30 training courses every year
