HOME LEARNING Home learning designed to prepare for, reinforce and extend learning that has taken place in class. Balance of Mathematics tasks, multiplication tables practice and spelling tasks. In addition, a project will be set during our Drop Pins learning theme to be completed over the term. This will include Literacy tasks related to our learning theme. The expectation is that children spend no longer than 25 minutes on an activity. We also expect the children to read for at least 15 minutes every night. Your help is needed please….engage and monitor Check the 4S class blog

How can we help at home? Encourage your child to: Organise themselves on a daily basis (letters, PE kit etc...) Check their personal s regularly Set up a desk or study area Start home learning on their own See if they can solve their own problems Be inquisitive Explore their interests
