Lab Rotation/TSI Prep Materials One ELA teacher tutored in lab during 4 th period. Teachers rotated taking their students once a week to the lab for TSI tutoring/practice. TSI Prep Materials: My Foundations Lab Cambridge Study Materials 9

Results 10 TSI Reading 1 st attempt in October – 68/125 passed (54%) December resulted in giving the TSI Writing to those who passed the Reading and the rest of the students retested in Reading Fall Semester: Resulted in 70% of the students being college ready TSI Reading Results by May: 108 passed Reading 92 passed Writing 19 passed Math

Next steps… As principal of a comprehensive 5A high school, I will be implementing a College Transition Course for all 10 th grade students. Students opting to not enroll, must have a signed letter from their parents. We will follow the same curriculum, the same TSI Prep and the same expectations. 11
