THE URGENCY OF PRAYER

EPH. 6:18 AND PRAY IN THE SPIRIT ON ALL OCCASSIONS WITH ALL KINDS OF PRAYER AND REQUESTS. WITH THIS MIND, BE ALERT AND KEEP ON PRAYING FOR ALL THE SAINTS.

This verse continues the thought of v. 17. As we take the sword of the Spirit, God’s Word, we must also pray in the Spirit on all occasions.

PRAY IN THE SPIRIT 1.The Holy Spirit helps us when we pray. Rom. 8:26 2. The Holy Spirit prays on our behalf. Rom. 8:27

PRAY IN THE SPIRIT 3. The Holy Spirit makes God accessible. Eph. 2:18 4. The Holy Spirit gives us confidence when we pray. Rom. 8:15-16
