Cascade Petroleum Tank Truck Rollover On 03/12/12, a tanker truck with trailer overturned on US Highway 58 releasing about 4,200 gallons of diesel and gasoline into a tributary of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River Incident affected soil, surface water, and groundwater Responsible party performed cleanup action with federal and state oversight

Repsol Q2 Pad – Gas and Mud Release On 02/15/12, an exploratory well being drilled on Alaska's North Slope experienced a blowout when drillers encountered a gas pocket approximately 2500 feet below the surface Approximate 42,000 gallons drilling mud and an undetermined volume natural gas was expelled from the well onto the gravel pad and nearby tundra The well was abandoned on 03/15/12

11 th Street Chemical Fire NW Chemical Recycling repackaged bulk chemicals for purchase on eBay, including explosives, flammable liquids, oxidizers, radioactive materials, and reactive metals - On 03/28/12, a fire and explosion erupted due to tenant repackaging sodium chlorite from a bulk container to a smaller container EPA conducted a removal action between 03/29 /2012 and 04/18/ ,000 to 10,000 laboratory grade chemicals in more than 1600 various sized containers were overpacked - Approximately 320 cubic yards of burnt building debris and containers with chemical residue
