Presentation transcript:

Planning for Assessments (Bloom’s Taxonomy) Taxonomy is a way to group things together.

Creating – Putting information together in an innovative way. Evaluating – Making judgments based on a set of guidelines. Analyzing – Breaking the concept into parts and understand how each part is related. Applying – Use the knowledge gained in new ways. Understanding – Making sense of what you have learned. Remembering – Recalling relevant knowledge from long term memory.

How would you use taxonomies in planning for assessments? I will use it as a guild to help write my objectives and get students ready for tests and the next level of education.

How quality assessments are designed? A quality assessment is a assessment in which involves understanding, what type of questions are on a particular assessment, and how the information give on the assessments can be used to help teachers, students, and parents.
